Rita Rolo Morais has made her House debut at Theater Aachen in May 2025 singing the Titel Role in Der gestiefelte Kater - Xavier Montsalvatge, conducted by Timo Handschuh and staged by Maren Schäfer. In September 2025 she sung the role of Partenope in Luigi Mancia’s Partenope at the WDR Kunsthaus, with the Baroque Orchestra Kairos, conducted by Prof. Kai Wessel.

In the 2024/25 season, the Portuguese soprano made her debut in the roles of Pamina in Die Kleine Zauberflöte, as well as as Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel.

After completing her Master’s degree in Music Theatre (Opera) with Prof. Gideon Poppe at the HfMT Köln in Germany, she is currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Liedgestaltung with Prof. Michaela Kaune and Prof. Burkhard Kehring at the HfMT Hamburg.

A passionate recitalist, Rita collaborates regularly with different pianists and has sung Lied Recitals at the Haydn Festival Brühl, Hamburger Kunsthalle, Koblenzer Kammerkonzerte and was awarded 1st Prize at the HfMT Köln Lied Duo Competition with pianist Gavin Liang May. Rita also collaborates with pianist Kewen Wang, with whom she is a scholarship holder of the Dörken Stiftung.

Rita discovered her passion for music at an early age and began playing the violin at the age of six. She completed her Bachelor's degree at ESMAE, Porto, Portugal, with Professor Rui Taveira, graduating with distinction.
